My camera is a Canon Powershot SX10. A wonderful mid price camera. Truthfully I rarely take it off auto focus, then edit in Windows Gallery. I am still learning how to use it. Thank all of you for your wonderful comments.
This is just wonderful, Misfit. The Full Worm Moon in all its glory! Over a year ago I started a project to photograph each of the named moons over a year, but only got about six (the Worm Moon among them) before I hit a rainy full moon. I'd have given a few ounces of soul for a shot like this.
Thanks for bringing us the moon! We haven't been able to see it here because of our cloud cover/current storm system. You do us a big service! And, that Powershot of yours has got a LOT of pull and great resolution! Isn't it fun to get shots like this! It took me a long time to learn to get correct exposure for night sky shots with a DSLR, and even with my longest 200mm lens, this is about as close as I could get. Auto settings are your friend when what you want to get can be gotten with them, and so well. Super shot! -Kim
