Horticulture (With Some Agriculture Thrown in on the Side)

We are lucky enough to have a true jewel in our county, The Ag Expo Center. I think sometimes we forget all it has to offer. Here is a quick glimpse;

Lovely flower garden spots scattered throughout the ground. The female inmates tend to these.

The women supply the county jail with much of its produce, also grown on the fairgrounds.

The Ag Center has several camper sites which many of the competitors in the various horse shows take advantage of.

A walking trail surrounds the entire site. There are benches for resting on scattered throughout.

And a bridge (which had to be rebuilt after the flood last May) crosses the Green River onto a small island

for additional trails. It's also a shortcut back into the heart of town.

Now that you have seen just a fraction of what it has to offer, drop by for a stroll next time you are in the area.

ABC Wednesday.
