Spanish Moss


Rt. 17 in South Carolina. I love driving this enclosed allee with the spanish moss draped from the live oaks.

  3. We have several of these here in Tallahassee and we call them our Canopy Roads. They are protected and if you want to build anything along them, it takes a long time to get permission from the local authorities.

  5. These allees seem other worldly, don't you think? I expect to see horse drawn coaches and ladies in long dresses around each bend.
