I read recently that only 17% of Americans live in rural areas. I count myself lucky to be one of them. Cities have their good points (museums, theaters, history) but I remain content to merely visit them.
I'm a country woman but I live in a city which is as close to being like the country as can be thanks to our mayor of more than 20 years. If I lived in the country I think I too would have so many animals it might be a problem.
...and I am a city woman through and through, though I love to visit the country. (weekend house swap anyone?!)
